316: I Think, I’m Thinking, Here’s the Difference. / Poznaj różnicę między 'I think' a 'I’m thinking'.
W tym odcinku rozwiewam jedną z najczęstszych wątpliwości moich słuchaczy: kiedy używać ‘I think’, a kiedy ‘I’m thinking’. Choć wyglądają prawie tak samo, mają zupełnie inne znaczenia.
Dowiesz się:
✔️ czym różni się 'I think' od 'I’m thinking'
✔️ jak używać 'I think that', 'I think so' i 'I don’t think so',
✔️ dlaczego 'I think no' brzmi nienaturalnie,
✔️ jak mówić płynniej dzięki kilku prostym zdaniom,
✔️ jak trenować mówienie tak, by przestać tłumaczyć w głowie.
W odcinku znajdziesz też 10 praktycznych zdań do powtórzenia na głos, 5 z I think i 5 z I’m thinking, idealnych do natychmiastowego użycia w codziennych sytuacjach.

Hey there, this is Teacher Lab Podcast, episode 316.
You read English.
You understand English.
If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.
My name's Ola and this is Teach Ola podcast.
This isn't about perfect grammar or fancy vocabulary.
This is about your voice, your words, your real English.
So before we start, I want to tell you something important, something that can truly change the way you speak English.
This Tuesday at 7.35 p.m.
we're starting the winter edition of Say It Out Loud, my speaking club and speaking program that gives you exactly what you've been missing.
But the difference is how we do it.
Właściwie musisz czuć się absolutnie przekonany każdego dnia, kiedy mówisz, ponieważ fluency
And that's how you finally feel proud of the way you sound in English.
There is no other way.
Trust me, there is no other way.
And remember, you join this program forever.
You get lifetime access to all materials, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation on the platform and you get unlimited access to our monthly speaking extra class.
And the next one is already tomorrow, November the 15th at 11.30 a.m.
You can just listen, just participate from home, in silence and you can just start speaking when you feel ready.
Every day I leave you a small speaking task.
And here is the deeper truth.
You are not doing this just to improve English.
You are doing this because you want to feel confident.
Speaking English is not only a language skill.
But this is really what you want.
So if you're ready to stop thinking in Polish, if you're ready to stop translating every sentence, if you're ready for your words to finally match your thoughts, join us.
And I hear this mistake all the time.
And if you learn the difference now, your English will immediately sound more natural.
Oczywiście mówisz głębiej, twój głos nie sięgnie, będziesz szefem.
Kiedy mówisz I THINK, dajesz opinię.
You're not talking about the process of thinking right now.
I'm thinking is different.
It's like your brain is working at the moment and you haven't finished deciding yet.
So you are in the middle of the process of making a decision.
So I think is your opinion.
I'm thinking is the process and it's happening right now.
I'm making decision.
Another thing people confuse is I think that, I think so and I don't think so.
And they are not the same.
For example, I think that this is a good idea.
I think that this is a good idea.
You can drop the word that also and just say I think this is a good idea without that.
Both are correct, but you cannot say I think so with a full sentence, you know?
So for instance, let me make this mistake and say the sentence I think so this is a good idea.
or I think so is a good idea.
Is she coming today?
Is the shop still open?
Notice that we don't say I think no, like in Polish.
That doesn't exist.
The natural way is I don't think so.
The first five views I think because we're talking about opinions and the next five views I'm thinking because we're talking about the process of making a decision.
repeating sentences out loud is a great start it warms up your voice it trains your mouth muscles it helps you get used to the sound of english coming from you and yes it can even automate a few useful phrases but let's be honest this alone
Doing only this will never give you real fluency.
If you want to stop thinking in Polish, if you want to stop translating every sentence in your head, if you want to finally speak with ease, with speed and with the kind of confidence that feels natural and honest, then you need to start speaking with real people.
This is exactly why speaking clubs and conversation classes matter.
You do this.
I've been teaching English for 13 years.
My course is built on everything I've learned.
And there is no stress, no judgment, but you have a supportive community and practical speaking tools that actually work.
W rzeczywistości jest to bardzo proste.
If you want English to feel natural, if you want to trust yourself when you open your mouth, if you want your words to flow as fast as your thoughts, then it's time to step into real conversations with real people and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
Listen and repeat out loud.
I think this song is actually really good.
I think this song is actually really good.
I think this is my favorite hoodie.
I'm thinking of taking a break this weekend.
I think is your opinion.
I'm thinking is the process of making a decision.
If you keep this in mind, your English will instantly sound clearer and more natural because you will be confident you're using these words correctly.
It'll help you repeat the key phrases from this lesson.
But remember, repeating alone is never enough.
You have to start speaking with real people.
Enrolment for SIOL is now open at siol.pl and also at teacherola.com forward slash kurs.
Inside the course you don't just learn English, you train speaking.
You'll get structured lessons, a safe and supportive speaking club, a WhatsApp voice chat where I personally guide you.
Monthly live sessions, lifetime access, everything inside is designed to help you finally be yourself in a foreign language.
Thank you so much for listening.
I'm your teacher, Teacher Ola and you've been listening to Teacher Ola podcast.
