Prof. Mette Birkedal Bruun is the director of the Danish National Research Foundation Centre for Privacy Studies at the University of Copenhagen. She focuses on religious history of the Middle Ages and the early modern period, in particular the Cistercian monastic order. In this episode of the podcast, the conversation revolves around personal experiences and practical aspects of building one’s academic career, project applications, societal relevance of historical research.
